Chantal Cookware

Houston-based Chantal was first to bring dramatic color, tempered glass lids, stay-cool handles and multi-functional cookware to the marketplace. The company launched Copper Fusion in 2008, and charged SPM with positioning the line as the top-performing healthy alternative to non-stick cookware. SPM secured Top Chef/Iron Chef competitor Tre Wilcox as the spokesperson for the line to help build credibility and awareness among category heavyweights like Calphalon and Le Creuset. SPM consistently secured major national media coverage for the brand including Chantal’s inclusion in Good Housekeeping’s review on best cookware in 2008.

A stealth skate shoe with a single wheel in each heel, Heelys hit the retail scene in December 2000 and sold more than 420,000 pairs of shoes in the U.S. and overseas in its first year. In 2001, SPM began working with company founder Roger Adams to help grow the company from a Carrollton garage-based business to a publicly traded global company, landing stories in People, Sports Illustrated, Time, Reader’s Digest, Wall Street Journal and MSNBC and placing Heelys products in major films, TV series and music videos. SPM also established a crisis communications and media training protocol for the company to address safety issues.

Hilton Bella Harbor

Hilton Bella Harbor, a one-of-a-kind lakeside destination on the shores of Lake Ray Hubbard in Rockwall, Texas, tapped SPM to help position the hotel as well as its two restaurants Mistra and Blue Canyon Kitchen, Tavern and Wine Bar as a premiere lakefront destination in North Texas for meetings and conventions and for Dallas-area residents to enjoy a relaxing “staycation.” SPM executed an aggressive media relations campaign that successfully garnered local and national media attention for the North Texas property.
